Grant Enables Young Trumpet Player Imogen to Discover New Repertoire

Imogen Timmins is an outstanding young trumpet player from Falmouth and has just completed her first year of Music Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. During the Summer term Imogen was invited to play as part of the Fulham Brass Brand. This was a great experience for Imogen as she learnt new sight reading as well as challenging her stamina.

Imogen has inspired the next generation of young brass musicians through her involvement with the Cornwall Youth Orchestra, Cornwall Youth Brass Ensemble and Cornwall Youth Jazz Orchestra.

With unconditional offers to three of the top London music colleges, Imogen signed herself up for a summer term platform to get as many performance opportunities as possible ending the term with a final recital of three pieces from which Imogen played on her new trumpet which the grant from Young & Talented enabled her to buy.
