Y&TC Alumni ranks 5th in the World

Molly Caudery, Y&TC alumni and Olympic qualifying pole vaulter, became 5th in the World at the British Athletics championships in Budapest in August.

Molly made her mark by hitting a PB of 4.75m in the World Finals, automatically qualifying her into the Olympic Games. Molly received funding from Young & Talented Cornwall back in 2014 and again in 2017 enabled her to purchase new equipment and to cover travel costs.

After having 2 surgeries earlier in the year, Molly’s sheer determination to get back into the gym and into training has resulted in an incredible comeback.

We are so incredibly proud, and in awe, of the achievements Molly has made and cannot wait to continue watching her flourish.
