Y&TC Recipient Jodie Dow has a brilliant year at London Studio Centre

Y&TC Alumni Jodie, a ballet dancer from St Austell, is currently studying at the London Studio Centre and has been in touch to tell us all about her experience so far..

“I would like to thank you for the grant that was funded to me at the beginning of the year as it has helped me so much to fund my dance wear and equipment, etc. I have had a brilliant first year of training so far and have just completed all of my dance assessments at my conservatoire.

I have had incredible experiences whilst training and learning things from such knowledgeable teachers in the industry, as well as taking classes outside of school at pineapple dance studios in Covent Garden and also visiting my old dance school at home (Maureen Pascoe School of Dance) to take part in class.

I will also be performing in a show at the end of the school year in July at Wimbledon Theatre in order to showcase what we have learnt during this year!”
